Everything you need to know before booking your coffee cart.
Do you sell coffee directly to guests at events?+
No — we're exclusively a private event catering service. We charge hourly for unlimited espresso drinks for all your guests. We don't offer a cash bar or pay-per-cup option.
What do you need in terms of setup?+
Not much! We need a 5×5-foot space per cart, one dedicated power circuit per cart, a wheelchair-accessible location, and a point of contact to show our baristas where to set up. We handle everything else — setup, service, and full cleanup.
What's included with a Howdy Coffee cart rental?+
Every cart arrives fully stocked with freshly roasted Onyx Coffee Lab beans, whole and oat milk, organic flavor syrups, professional baristas, and all cups, lids, and straws. Your quote includes unlimited drinks, travel, setup, and breakdown. No surprise fees — ever. View our full menu →
Do you serve at outdoor events?+
Yes — we love outdoor events! We'll need a covering or awning for shade and weather protection, access to power within 30 feet (or a generator), and if temperatures drop below 40°F, a propane heater and semi-enclosed space per barista.
How far do you travel?+
We proudly serve Portland, Vancouver WA, Beaverton, Salem, Hood River, and more cities across Oregon and Washington. Any event 50+ miles outside of Portland will include a travel fee, shown clearly in your quote.
What drinks do you serve?+
We serve lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, mochas, vanilla lattes, cortados, matcha lattes, chai lattes, and hot chocolate. Whole and oat milk are included. Decaf espresso available on request. View the full menu →
Can you match our event theme or brand?+
Absolutely. We can wrap the cart in your brand, use custom printed cups, print your logo directly onto lattes with our Ripples printer, and build a custom signature drink menu around your event. All add-ons are optional and clearly priced.
Where do you source your coffee?+
We partner with Onyx Coffee Lab, a nationally recognized specialty roaster committed to direct-trade sourcing and sustainability. They work directly with farmers to ensure ethical practices, fair compensation, and environmental stewardship at every step of the supply chain.
How is pricing determined?+
Your quote is based on three factors: hours of service, guest count, and travel distance. We believe in full price transparency — your quote includes unlimited drinks, travel, setup, and breakdown. Add-ons like custom branding are optional and clearly priced. View full pricing details →
